Harper nodded at Hebe because she understood that way of thinking. “Exactly, and why are we so sure that mermaids aren’t real when there is so much of the ocean that we haven’t seen? It seems like a dumb stance to me.” She added with a small shrug as it wasn’t as though they could know for certain. “I guess that is true. The system wants us to think that we can win so that we keep trying. But for the most part we are going to fail.” Harper added as she knew that it was impossible for everyone to win. It needed to be that way for society to continue to function the way that it currently was. “Adopting cats and living your best life isn’t the worst idea so you’ll be fine.”
“OH, DEFINITELY. MERMAIDS ARE REAL. Maybe they live in the deepest part of the ocean. The part that us humans had never explored,” she quipped, nodding. Harper truly was an artist for having a wide imagination like her. “We can never win, so we might as well just live our lives and do what we want.” When she arrived to that conclusion. Hebe finally had the courage to run away from home, distancing herself from her controlling and overbearing parents. They already had an idea of what her life was going to be, but they never asked her what she wanted. “I know. I’ll be fine.” She chuckled in amusement imagining it. “What about you? Do you have anything in mind for your future?” she wondered.
Was it selfish to steal her and have her all for himself for the weekend? Yes. Was he feeling bad for leaving kids with a babysitter? Also yes. But he couldn’t quite remember when was the last time they were alone - just the two of them. Will had booked them a nice little cabin just a little out of the city, up on a hill, overlooking the valley with the city being at their feet. The cabin had a romantic patio, where they could watch the fireworks from, and a hot tub.
“I was told there are two baby goats living in the nearby farm and they like to sneak out and come chill here by this cabin. So, if you see them, don’t be alarmed,” he said with a small chuckle and closed the distance between them. His arms wrapped around her waist and he pulled her closer. “And also there are beautiful hiking trails and a watchtower, and so much more things to do. We could have a very active weekend, if you want to. Or we can just be lazy and enjoy each other’s company, make some pancakes or whatever you’re in the mood for,” he smiled and dipped down his head to give her a loving kiss.
DEMETER HAD IMMERSED HERSELF INwork. Her life had mostly revolved around her job and her kids. Things had changed with Will around. She had loosened up and learned how to have fun. He was slowly becoming a permanent fixture in her life. Or at least, she hoped he was. She never liked being vulnerable around people. However, he had a way of getting her guard down. It didn’t help how strongly attracted she was to him.
She had been hesitant to go on this little trip, but before she could even reason why she couldn’t, he already had everything sorted. It amazed her how he knew her well. The girls even encouraged her to go on this trip. He had hired a trustworthy sitter to look after them. “Baby goats. That’s cute. Don’t worry, they won’t scare me. I like animals.” They were surrounded by the lush greeneries. The cabin was perfect for a nature lover like herself. She smiled and looked up at him as he listed all the possible activities they could do. “Sounds like a plan.” The distance closed between them. She wrapped her arms around his neck, beaming at him. “We can settle on an activity, and then we can spend some time . . . in bed.” She tilted her head up and met his lips, reveling in the loving kiss.
Being on the run was a constant thing, one couldn’t take a break from it, there were no holidays or just a day off. Anya and Ares had to keep looking over their shoulders constantly. But finding a nice hiding spot out of everyone’s eyes did help a little. It was a cabin by a lake. Sure, there were more people living by it, Anya could see their houses in the far distance, but it was far enough to feel secluded.
It was getting dark and Anya was gathering laundry, that she had hanged outside to dry, and putting it in a basket, when she noticed Ares` silhouette in the gazebo by the water. Instead of going inside to put the laundry down there, Anya went over to Ares, put the basket on a table and sat down next to him. She could hear some music and people laughing, talking and celebrating the Independence Day further near the lake, but those were faint sounds. “What was it that people say…” she wondered and looked at Ares, lips curving in a smile, “penny for your thoughts?”
ARES WAS USED TO LIVING this kind of life. Always on the run without a home. He had a target on his back, which only worsened when he failed a single mission to spare this woman he considered his best friend. A single mission that had gone wrong that he had to pay for. They couldn’t stay in one place for too long, ensuring they’d be untraceable. They always had to be sure. A single misstep could cost them their lives.
He had just finished doing his job. Well, his regular job. He had to make a living. They needed the money for their necessities. Even though it was a holiday, he still had to do some work. The butcher shop had to be open for everyone to buy meat since it was a special occasion. It was packed with people, and with everything sold out quickly, he was able to clock out early. Despite that, it took him a while to get ‘home.’ He had gone to the city, which was an hour’s drive from the town, and bought some things to celebrate for the holiday. He earned enough to afford liquor. It was almost dark by the time he arrived. He watched as Anya did some chores, and went to the gazebo, sitting down by the body of water. He sensed her join him and glanced at her through his periphery. “Nothing much. Just thinking about the holiday,” he answered. “I bought us liquor and some meat we can grill.”

PERSONAL FEELINGS ASIDE, THEY’VE got a tricky mission to finish. Regardless of their history, it shouldn’t get in the way. Athena was competent with her job, rarely ever failing. However, there was a slight deterrence at the other’s presence. She never thought that they’d ever see each other again, let alone work together. The two of them had gone a long way back, until everything turned crap ( it was a bittersweet memory she didn’t want to look back on. ) For the finishing touch of her make-up, she swept the lipstick over her lips. Satisfied with the result, she turned to look at her partner, who seemed to be struggling in keeping their clothes in place. She took a step forward, and offered to do it for them. “Let me fix that for you.” Fingers daintily worked to pull at the zipper. Once she was finished, a look of satisfaction crossed her face. “We’re all set. It’s show-time.Buena suerte para nosotros.”
uncertain of how long it would take for the two of them to reach that pinnacle of ecstasy, to find exhaustion. he knows that his stamina is nearly boundless and the only times he’s been bested was in sparring with his father or when pitted against the offspring of aries. and he’s quite certain that aphrodite would have him pushed to that same brink, but he was more than willing to meet the challenge and try to be better than he’s ever been. a groan leave his lips and his body shifts as she squeezes around him, clearly eager to make the most out of the control that she had wrestled from his grasp. but truth be told, dante was more than comfortable with handing over that control and allowing her to do what she wanted to his body. because every single action felt so impossibly perfect.
“ gods, you’re incredible, “ dante hisses as he feels his eyes rolling back into his head. the sensitivity from their first orgasm was still present, so the feeling of her hips rolling to meet his own felt even more intense than the godling could describe. as her lips start to lavish him with attention, her kisses, her little nips of his taut flesh, he writhes a bit underneath her, moaning with delight before his eyes are able to return to see the gorgeous woman in front of him. hands are possessive as they grab at her hips, pulling her down to his cock, ensuring that every inch possible was taken inside of her as she rode him. even as she seized control, he pushed back to claim his own pleasure. not that she needed any help in that regard. his body rocked up, sitting upright with her still in his lap, giving him the chance to take her breast into his mouth and such at the perfect breast that existed at eye level. all the while, his cock twitched with a growing desire.
IT TAKES A LOT TO wear out her godly stamina. Typical mortals wouldn’t be able to keep up with her, but a demigod like himself would possess one close to a deity. Dante is obviously far from exhausted, and Aphrodite intends to do more with him. She’s insatiable, and she wants everything he can offer. She lays on top of him and rides his dick. Starting with a slow pace, her slick cunt tightens around him. She doesn’t leave every inch of his body unattended. Leaning down, she adorns his body with hot kisses, teeth grazing against his skin. She pauses for a while, sucking a particular area and leaving marks. She’s aggressive while she does so, ensuring that the smear lingers on him for a while. He may have quicker regenerative healing, but she has ways of letting it set longer.
“Good boy,” she praises, cooing. “You like this? You like my tight cunt around your dick?” He’s moaning and writhing underneath her. The sweet surrender is sexy, and the praise elevates her arousal. She quickens her movements, her body shaking and breasts jiggling. He grabs her hips and pulls her down, ramming himself deep into her. Her lips part, eyes rolling at the back of her head in delight. As he sits upright, she holds onto him tightly and fucks herself against his cock. She’s back on his lap, and she hands back half of the reins. “Fuck–—” She’s used to wrestling for power, and it impresses her how he defies her. She gyrates her body against his. Her breasts perking as he takes it into his mouth. She cups the back of his head, keeping him close to her chest. His cock pulsates inside her, and she clenches her pussy around him. She slips her free hand between her legs and rubs her clit for additional stimulation. Her next orgasm is nearing after doing so.
“Yes, I can see that.” Logan told her after he had scanned the room with his eyes in order to ensure that she was in fact alone. He didn’t know her too well, so he could never be too sure, after all. Besides, couldn’t blame a man for wanting to be on the safer side, after all. His house was large and held a lot of valuable possessions after all.
Logan raised his brows ever so slightly as she spoke. He was curious as to what had brought her here, after all. “Hm I guess that is a fair point.” He told her. He knew all about hard work himself, but he just found himself to be in a different kind of position than she was in. He had had his fathers business handed down to him and from that managed to grow his fortune. “Don’t thank me, just..” He paused and heaved a sigh. “You can stay here until you have found somewhere else to go.” He added after he had given it some thought. “Until you are back on your feet or whatever kind of trouble you are in.”
HEBE COULDN’T BLAME HIM FOR his wariness. It was her fault for sneaking in and thinking that her employer wasn’t around. She didn’t properly ask him for permission. Even if she didn’t have bad intentions, it was still sensible for him to ensure his safety. “I’m really sorry. I was–—am–—desperate.” She must have sounded like a broken record with the incessant apology, but she felt terrible for what she did. She would have brazenly asked him instead if she had known that he’d be this nice.
“Thanks for understanding,” she said gratefully. He had paid her enough. She was just unfortunate that her landlord hiked up the rent price. She failed to estimate how much she spent on her necessities, not leaving enough for the bills. She wasn’t irresponsible with money, but the exhaustion from her jobs took its toll. She couldn’t think straight. She was lucky that he was nice enough to let her stay. Not just for the night but until she could sort her problems out. “Alright then.” She nodded. “I’ll be your housekeeper until I figure this out.” That was the least she could do for him.
Rhys knew that when he had entered into this agreement with her, that he would have to be a man of his word, and so far he felt as if he had been and done exactly that. She could be a handful, but he had been warned. At times, he struggled to keep up, but he had to remind himself of his end goal and it motivated him to keep going and put in the effort. At least it had, at first. But naturally, over time, things had changed. “I guess so.” He nodded in agreement with her words. His lips continued to crash back against her own, gently cupping the back of her neck with his hand to hold her closer to him. “Sure. I am sure the two of us can have a lot more fun on our own than we can down here.” He teased her with a wink after he had pulled back.
ERIS DIDN’T LIKE RELYING ON anyone. The success of her agreement with Rhys depended on how well things would go. She needed his cooperation, but she didn’t make it easy for him from the start. She was stubborn and prideful, yet it impressed her how he could put up with it. Somehow, it earned her respect and affection, though she wouldn’t be caught dead admitting this to him. “Hm.” She hummed. Their lips met, and she reveled in the kiss. “You’re not wrong about that.” She smirked and reciprocated the wink. She turned to the crowd as he pulled back and called them for a toast. She gave a brief speech to thank everyone that came here for the night. “And most especially, I owe everything to my husband, who’s been nothing but supportive. He’s able to keep up despite how busy he is. We’re going to call it a night, because I’ve missed him a lot, and we’ve got some catching up to do,” she finished, readying to leave with him.
Harper nodded at Hebe’s revelation. “You are definitely right, because there is no way we are the only planet that has intelligent life.” She added as she was sure that there was life out there somewhere that was just waiting to find life somewhere else. “Exactly, it’s such weird situation. There is no real winning when it comes down to it.” She replied with a shake of her head. Harper would never understand why everyone was so obsessed with each other and needing to know what people were up to, and how great their lives were. “It sounds like you’ve got it all figured out then. I am not sure I’d like that level of chaos in my home myself, but then again maybe it would be just what I needed. I guess that is one of those things you can’t know until it ends up happening.”
“THERE ARE STILL A LOT of mysteries in the world that we have yet to discover. The vast ocean for instance. Atlantis might actually be real.” It was fun to meet someone imaginative like her. “I know. The system isn’t really designed for anyone to win. Whatever a person does, society will always be judgmental.” Hebe had lived most of her life keeping up appearances. Her family was all about prestige, obsessed with a good reputation. She had been relieved of the burden when she ran away. It hadn’t been easy, and she had faced another set of difficulties. The only upside of this was her freedom. She could just be herself. “Sort of. The future is unclear, but it’s clear to me that I’d adopt cats and thrive in life. Then again, like what you said, I will never know until it happens.” She shrugged.
